A fully subsidised one-to-one German language coaching programme funded via the Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein (AVGS) from the Federal Employment Agency, aimed at job seekers and unemployed individuals. Courses run for up to 8 weeks with a maximum of 160 teaching units and can be taken part-time (4 lessons/day) or full-time (6 lessons/day), either in person or online. For German, the course is available from B1 to C2 level under standard AVGS conditions, with A1 possible in exceptional cases.
