Is your German course funded?
Depending on your visa status and employment situation, you could get your German course paid for — fully or partially — by the German government. Answer 4 questions to find out.
Step 1 of 4
EU status
Are you an EU/EEA citizen or Swiss national?
This affects which funding routes are open to you.
What is your current visa or residence status in Germany?
This determines which programmes you can access.
What is your current employment situation?
The Jobcenter and Agentur für Arbeit offer different support depending on your status.
Important: Funding eligibility depends on your individual circumstances, recent changes to legislation, and decisions by your local authority. The information above is a general guide only — always confirm your eligibility with your local Jobcenter, Agentur für Arbeit, or a BAMF-accredited language school before enrolling.
