1. About LingoMap

LingoMap is an online directory that helps users find and compare German language courses in Berlin. LingoMap is operated by Julian Schempp, Rotenkruger Weg 88, 12305 Berlin, Germany (contact.lingomap@gmail.com).

By using this website you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What LingoMap Provides

LingoMap provides:

  • A directory of language schools and courses in Berlin
  • Tools to filter, compare and evaluate courses
  • An enquiry form to contact schools directly

LingoMap is an information service only. We are not a language school, do not sell courses, and are not a party to any agreement between a user and a school.

3. Accuracy of Listings

School and course information on LingoMap is provided for general informational purposes. We make reasonable efforts to keep listings accurate, but we do not guarantee the completeness, correctness or timeliness of any information.

Prices, schedules, course availability and school details may change without notice. Always verify details directly with the school before enrolling or making any financial commitment.

4. Enquiry Form

When you submit an enquiry via LingoMap, your name and email address are forwarded to the relevant school. By submitting an enquiry you:

  • Confirm the information you provide is accurate
  • Consent to your data being shared with the school as described in our Privacy Policy
  • Understand that LingoMap is not responsible for the school's response or any subsequent communication

LingoMap may retain a copy of enquiries for up to 12 months for operational purposes.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading or spam enquiries
  • Attempt to scrape, copy or reproduce the directory content in bulk
  • Use the site in any way that could damage, disable or impair it
  • Use automated tools to access the site without prior written permission

6. Intellectual Property

The LingoMap name, logo, design and original content are the property of Julian Schempp. School names, logos and course descriptions remain the property of their respective owners and are used for directory purposes only.

You may not reproduce or republish LingoMap content without prior written permission.

7. Third-Party Services

LingoMap uses the following third-party services:

  • Google Maps — for displaying school locations. Subject to Google's Terms of Service
  • Google Analytics — for anonymous usage analytics (with your consent)
  • Google Places API — for displaying publicly available reviews
  • Hetzner — for website hosting

LingoMap is not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LingoMap is not liable for:

  • Any inaccuracies in school or course listings
  • Any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content
  • Any issues arising from your direct dealings with a school
  • Temporary unavailability of the website

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The date at the top of this page shows the last revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
