Frequently asked questions
What is a Wochenendkurs (weekend course)?
A Wochenendkurs is a German course held on Saturdays and/or Sundays, for people who can't attend during the working week. Sessions are often longer (3–4 hours) to make the most of the weekend.
Who are weekend German courses best for?
Full-time workers, shift workers, and anyone whose weekdays are too busy for regular classes. Weekend courses let you make steady progress without taking time off work.
How fast will I progress in a weekend course?
Weekend courses are part-time, so progress is gradual — expect a few months per CEFR level. They suit consistent, long-term learning rather than a fast sprint to a certificate.
Can I combine a weekend course with an online course?
Yes — some schools offer weekend classes online, and you can mix formats over time. Use the delivery-mode and schedule filters on the full course list to find the right combination.
